As we left convoy observed that es-
cort carrier had been following us
since we left Admiralties.

22/3/45
Havn't seen anything yet. Speed 9 knots.
There is a fair swell but no sign of
rough weather yet. Clocks were put
back an hour during the forenoon.

23/3/45
Had a very good night last night.
286 has been operating all day
and have picked up a fair few
aircraft but they have all Yanks.
One was picked up at 79 miles
speed of knots. E.T.A. 1830 tonight.
1900 Arrived at "Ulithi" but was unabl
to enter harbour owing to poor visibility
so did M/S partial all night around convoy.

24/3/45
Entered harbour about 0600 after
receiveing charts from Yank. L.C.I.
and proceeded alongside tanker
for oil amid a rain storm. It ap-
pears to me as though it rains
