Cloudy most of the day: Samuel took us in to Isaac's in
the morning, and went for us in the evening: we
walked to the meeting house and grave yard: dined at
Isaac's and took tea at James Russells: I staid at Isaac's
all night.

29th 4th day
Cloudy morning, clear afternoon: Isaac took Lucie
and me out to Pleasant Hill early in the morning,
we helped Debbie pare some fruit to peel up, the I
read Enoch Arden yo Lucie: the old friends came home
to dinner, from G. M.: in the afternnon Lucie Debbie
and I went down in the woods, and sat on a rock
and read "Bitter Sweet": Isaac came out in the evening
and brought Mary to stay all night: Henry came in the
evening and staid all night.

30th 5th day
Bright day: William and Louisa Steer started home
early in the morning: Mary went home in the morning
too: William and Mollie Wood and Sallie Bond came
in the evening: Samuel, Debbie and I went to town
after supper, and to Monrovia too.

31st 6th day
Clear day: the friends left early in the morning: Uncle
Joshua and Samuel went in town for the Russells,
