1922 5th mo. [1sh?] 2d. day Thermometer 48 at 7oclock. Elsie went to Cherry Grove awhile in the afternoon Frank went to Rockville for shingles for the house roof. Bright all day. 2d. 3d. day Thermometer 50 at 7oclock. Fanny went to Washington, to Anna's to stay all night. Bright all day. Thermometer 75 in the afternoon. 3d. 4th. day Thermometer 58 at 7oclock. Cloudy all day: some rain toward evening Fanny came home in the morning.

Thermometer 60 at 7oclock. Rained very hard in the morning, and again in the afternoon. Little Francis Brigham came in the morning to spend a few days.

5th. 6th. day

Thermometer 60 at 7oclock. Cloudy all day with showers. Fanny went to Cherry Grove awhile in the morning: Doris Leo called in the afternoon

6th. 7th. day

Thermometer 56 at 7oclock, 68 at noon. Cloudy all day Frank and Edward went to Washington in the morning, home by noon: Frank away all the afternoon.

Thermometer 62 at 7oclock, 78 in the afternoon. Marjorie and baby here awhile in the afternoon. Bright all day.

8th. 2d.day

Thermometer 58 at 7oclock. Planting corn at Auburn. Frank there helping Mrs. Abel died last evening, Fanny went there to call after supper; took flowers.

9th. 3d. day.

Thermometer 52 at 7oclock: Fanny went to Washington for the day, went in [the?] Buss, came to Olney in the evening to [the?] Grange, Frank met her there; he took Samuel Thomas and Elizabeth [Slater?], Miss

Cresson staid here while they were gone. Frank went to the funeral of Mrs. Abel in the morning. Edward here to dinner.

10th. 4th. day.

Thermometer 57 at 7oclock: 72 in the afternoon. Cloudy part of the day. bright afternoon. Marjorie and family here awhile in the afternoon.

11th. 5th.day

Thermometer 62 at 7oclock. Frank took me to Bank in the afternoon. Frank and Fanny went to the "Neighbors" at Brook Grove. Doris Lea here to stay all night. Thermometer 82 in the afternoon, 80 at 7oclock in the evening.
