Sir,

We have your Letter to us dated from Lyme the 2d. Jany. 1732/3 advising of a Bill of Exchange you had paid of our deced [deceased] fathers to Charles Stagg for sixteen pounds, & promising to render us our Fathers Accot. [Account] Currt. [Current] as soon as you had got in the Debts of which there was than but one small one outstanding, as you say. And yet in all this time, we have heard nothing of an Accot. [Account] Current from you, which we are a little Surprised at we expect as we expect & desire you to send us one by the very first Opportunity. and are..

upon Recollection I believe the Bill above mentioned was drawn by us as Executors to our father Robt. Carter Esq:

Sir,

W We have this day (this day) drawn on you as Exectors to our deced [deceased] Father for one hundred and fifty four pounds six shillings & six pence half penny payable to Mr. George Braxton junr. which we desire you to pay for accot.[account] of our Fathers Estate, & are in no doubt but you will do it. The balance of your Accot.[Account] Current by the Portland being in our favour one hundred & thirty five Pounds ten shillings, & you having twenty hh'ds of our Toba.[Tobacco] sent you last year yet to Accot. for which we imagine must be sold long before the bills get to hand. we shall send you about fourteen hhds more of the same Tobacco by your Portland this year. We desire you will send us a New Acct. Current as soon as you can & are
