Gentlemen
This serves only to inclose a Bill of Lading for nine hhds of Tobo. consigned you by the Martha, in which, tho' it seems by the [Hile?] to be all secretarys, yet by the mark ClC, I am not certain that 3 hhds belong not to Colonel Charles Carter. But all manner of Confusion will be avoided if you render the Accots. [Accounts] of sales seperate

Sirs
Ths is to go by the Antilope, who will be here [crossed out] ready to sail in as small time. I have drawn on you for the Secretarys Accot. [Account] and his desire to Captain James Hurst for twenty three pounds Sterl. [Sterling] being for a Negro bought of him. The Secretary desires also, That you will charge to his Accot. [Account] Four Hundred & Sixteen pounds four shillings & ten pence half penny Sterling being for Negroes bought out of the Antilopes Cargo. This Order is Charged in the Accot. [Account] Currt. [Current] of the Negro sales, sent you in a seperate Letter in Compa. with Mr. Moseley, as an Article of Remittance, & will be Confirmed by the secretary himself as soon as possible, & so will the Advice about the Bill of Exchange to Capt Hurst. The Loss of the Brigant.
