Inclosed you have the Accot. [Account] Currt. [Current] of one half of the Negro sales of the Antilope. the Balances in your favour Due from the Secretary & Colonel Charles Carter being Eight hundred & eleven pounds thirteen shillings Sterling: which being payable on Obligations excepting a small matter this summer will I hope be got in and remitted to you. The Accot. [Account] Current is signed by Me by the secretarys Directions; who, as well as his Brother, are at too great a Distance from Colonel Lewis, where I now am, to be at the settling these Accots. [Accounts] which were the more Difficult, because the sales being made jointly by Colo. Lee and the other Gentlemen, a Division was to be made afterwards of the whole Transaction. This Accot. [Account] Currt. [Current] will be confirmed by a Dublicate under the Secretarys and Brothers own Hands as soon as possible. The Coast Commission was not Paid the Master here because it is not known in what Proportion you would apply it between him & the Friends of the First Master that is dead. The Master, in not here, but Colonel Lee will Take the Proper Receipts, and transmit them
