Sir

The affair of our insurance of the Brigantine Little Betty being this day adjusted. I have taken this first Opportunity of performing the promise I made to you some time agoe [ago] of remitting my Proportions into your Hands, & I herewith send you my Bills on Mr Edward Athawes for five Hundred & seventeen pounds Six Shillings & eight pence half penny to be placed to the Credit of my Particular Accot. [Account]. I shall have an Opportunity by Capt. Loxam of with [witting?] about the Antilopes Cargo, when I Hope to make you a further Remittance in the Sale of the Negroes. There is a Charge of twenty one pounds for a Negro Woman sold to one Patter for whereas in truth she was sold but for twenty Pound so that you must give my Accot. [Account] Current Credit for ten shillings & the same to Colo. Lus Cart Loxam Has had so much dispatch in his business. That I shall be able to send but four hands hhds tobo.[tobacco] I noted [notead] of forty.
