Sir,
We have your Accots. [Accounts] of Insurances made on our Brigantine Little Betty & Cargoes the balance due to us being nine hundred & thirty four pounds fifteen Shillings, and nine pince [pence] [sent?] after the Premium, Commission & Charges deducted which we suppose is right. We desire you will carry this Sum which Credit of our Particular Accounts in the following proportions.

By some mistake Mr Rider & Compa.[Company] of Madera have latly [lately] sent me Eight [Diproof?] wine amounting to ninety six pounds which I desire the favor of you to pay. I think my order could not well have been constructed to Exceed four pipes but as they understood them otherwise & have sent the Wine I cannot refuse paying for them to must also desire that you will write to them to send me
