Somervell, and whatever they fall short of one
hundred thousand pounds of Tob., I will make good
by Dobbie, who arrived a few days ago - I [work?]
for Insurance by Capt Hyndman, but less an Accident should happen, I must again desire Insurance
to receive ten Pounds per hhd in case of loss.
I flatter'd myself Somervell would have
been upon the Ocean, before this day, but the most
heavy Rains which have frequently fallen this
Winter & Spring prevented the upland Tob. being
brought to the Warehouse, Surely he will sail
in a fortnight from this date - I am gent
