Orator, the number of slaves in each & their names,
and the sum expressed in each as the price of sd slaves.

XII. State whether or no the bill of sale of the slave
York was not given for the sd twenty dollar note and the sd
ninety 29/100 dollar note, and the two sums paid by you
for orator as afd. and was not sd bill of sale given for the
same purposes & upon the same assurances upon
which the sd five bills of sale were given - and was not sd
bill of sale given to secure the payment of the sum named
in sd bill of sale as the price of said slave, and at what
rate percent did you count the interest on the sd sums.

XII. Are not the several notes herein exhibited ex-
cept the copy exhibit the original notes which you
had and delivered up to orator as herein before stated and
is not the deed of trust exhibited the deed delivered up by
you to orator when the sd five bills of sale were given
as afd?

And the sd premises being fully answered
Orator prays that the deft be decreed to come to a just ac-
count with orator, and that the matters herein be
referred to the Master to report how much orator is just-
ly indebted to deft. for principle and legal interest,
excluding usurious and compound interest, and
orator further prays that sd bills of sale be decreed to be mort-
gages to secure the sum really found to be justly due
by orator to deft. - and orator further prays that up-
on the payment of the sd sum so found to be justly
due as afd. at such time as your Honor may dined [?]
the sd bills of sale and the sd two notes be decreed to be
delivered up to be cancelled - or that your Honor will
decree that so many of sd slaves be sold by the Register
