the Middle Chancery Division
Know all men by these presents that we, Hugh
Cunningham, Joseph Cunningham, William
Cunningham, James Good, Jesse D. Taylor and
James Coady [?], are held and firmly bound units
Daniel Turnipseed in the penal sum of four-
teen thousand five hundred and fifty dollars for
the payment of which well and truly to be made
we bind ourselves our heirs, executions and adminis-
trators jointly and severally, firmly by there pre-
sents, sealed with our seals, and dated this the twen-
ty second day of October in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and forty five

The condition of the above obligation is
such that whereas the above Hugh Cunningham
has this day filed his bill of complaint in the
said Chancery Court and thereby obtained
an injunction to the said Daniel Turnipseed
his agents and attorneys xe enjoining him and
then to forebear further to prosecute (with an ex-
ception named below) three certain suits now
pending in the Circuit Court of said Pickens
County, wherein the said Daniel Turnip-
seed is plaintiff and the said Hugh Cun-
ningham is defendant; one an action of
detinue for certain slaves herein after named
one an action of debt on a sealed note for eight
