Friday 1st Feby 1850. Finished Big Plant Bed
above House & fixed for another at new
ground & Saturday 2nd Burnt & sewed it
2nd nearly all & it beganwe did not finish to rain & so

Began to mall Jane & Federick
Piling or stacking wood
5. Henry malling Balance Burning
another Plant Bed in new ground
clear & cold this day ——
6 Henry gone to Mr Nealy to Hall wood
Finishing Plant Bed at new ground
Malling etc - pretty morning
7 Halled wood waggon & cart
Fed & Jane malling
8 malled with 3 hands alse Breaking flax
yesterday & to, Piling wood & cover all our Plant
Beds 3 in all Burnt - cloudy & like for Rain
9 Striping Tobacco in new Barn Raining
