Brumfield	May 25, 1858 - May 31, 1858 1858 May 25th Plowed Sweet Potatoes to day, we are replanting Corn & trying to get done, Jordan Crossing new ground at mountain Spring - I went to shop got mike shod & went to Mrs Hunts 26 I went to Jacobs they are Halling there & have not replanted corn yet, we are fixing our wet Land in Lot for planting scattering & Plowing in manure Jordan crossing at new ground dry Hot weather, replanting cotton by Lila & Malissa 27.
