Patchat last & went in Tobacco Lot at 12 Oclock
Charlott has been out nearly all the time
Jerry & Mr DR Hunt has bot out Mr HB Haley
at Chalk Level a day or Two ago

2nd August. Nannie & Jere started to Franklin
this morning turned my stock in Johns’s field
this morning Cows Horses 25 Hogs & 4 young pigs
Plowing & working lot this morning give nannie
$5 note, I am going to Wm Wallers Mrs
Colemans Jeres & Mrs Panills,

3rd I went to CH to attend to taking deposition
in Keatts case about Mrs Hunts Land been
there on same business Twice before our folks
finished working over Tobacco Lot, old Henry
gone to Buck Tuckers to get 4 Bus. Corn he says
he got from claiborne, little Henry gone to get
4th augta home for his wife who cant stay here any
longer balance worming & succorring on Road
clear & Hot in day, Cool nights ground Very dry
& Corn suffering very much for rain
Sold John D Hunts Dcesd Estate 12 ps Bacon
weighing 123 lbs @ 1/6 Rained in evening went Keensville Jerrys oldplace & Mrs Colemans I

5 clear & nights Cool Rained last evening
Stayed at home & rested this day

6th. Billy Hunt [Sent?] here this morning Halled
1 Stack fodder put some in Cutting House
some in Granary for Bill & Balance in Barn
back of Garden Plowing on road to Good Hopeup fresh ground
