Dear Mother:

Have quite a bit to write about
but will start by answering your ques-
tions. Most of them I answered in my last
letter. I don't remember the exact date
the pictures were taken but it was
sometime in July. That is close enough. As
for what to do about the people up-
stairs. Do nothing to upset yourself or
Pop. If he gets out of hand have Albert
go up and deck him. If he won't why just
let things go until I get home. I can handle
that punk. I'll be right in the mood
to handle a nut, too. Don't worry about
a thing until I get there. I'll take care of
everything.

Now about when I'll get there. I don't
know yet how soon it will be but I do
know it won't be any later than Feb. '46.
We have sent for replacements but things
are so messed up out here in the Pacific no
one knows what is going on. In fact I may
