My dear old Sned:

I have just received your letter saying
that you wont be home this week end. I am
sorry because I like to have you around, but
I have no doubt that you are quite right in
staying at the University and putting in some
good licks. On the other hand "all work and
no play makes Jack a dull boy".

Jos is working very hard i.e. the Mill
has been running to 6 pm instead of 5. He will
not know until tonight if he can get away
tomorrow afternoon to go to Brookdale. They
worked all last Sunday though Jos did not.

He and I are going to eat Spanish stuff at La Rosa's
tonight as we are a little tired of cooking.

I suppose you know that John Balthasar Fritschi Eleanor Marion Rixon Fritschi & John R. Fritschi
drove down in their machine last Saturday
to Gonzales where they stopped at the Alpine Tavern.
On Sunday they went to the Santa Maria Inn &
on Monday they went to Santa Barbara. I suppose
they reached Los Angeles Tuesday. They did
not know where they would stay but said
it might be the Hotel Clark. They said if
Lesley wanted to come home, he could come
back with them. I wrote Les to that effect
and on Wed got a wire from him to know
if Jack was coming and would he be able
to come back with him So I suppose hes
is coming up, but I dont think they will be
