My dear Edw:

I enclose two letters from Mother,
they have not been seen by Jas or Leo, so
return them to me. Your grandmother
is having a bad time with her eye, and she
wants you to send her the name of some
oculist that you once gave them the name of.

Will you write Mother direct, if you
remember the name, though I dont know
what they can do with it.

I came nearly driving to see you yesterday
but the 150 mile drive, and the possibility
of disturbing you when you were so busy,
stopped me. Jas was at Brookdale Sat pm
and yesterday. He says he thinks they will
all be back next Sunday. Lesley has had
a bad time keeping warm as the weather (except
part of yesterday) has been so cold since his
arrival last Thursday. He was in swimming
yesterday, but we had a big grate fire last
evening in the sitting room. Evelyn Hall came
over. I think he says his famly will be
back Wed or Thursday. How did you come
out in your Pathology Exams last week?

We all send you heaps of love, and hope
to see you next Sat & Sunday.

your loving father
