My dear old Sned:
Enclosed find postal from Doris Haslett
also letter which came last night from Mother.
A postal came yesterday from Helen that Nor
was home and feeling fine. You wont be
home tomorrow. I am taking Les to lunch tomorrow
to the S.F. Court Club to hear a talk on Moving
Pictures, which is the only thing in the world
that he appears interested in. He expects to
go back to Long Beach the first week in Sept.
I see Sept 5 & 9th are both holidays so it
might be possible for me to get away for that
week. Mary Helen Bates has cut her first
tooth. Terrific excitement. I have not seen it
but hope to tomorrow. John Balthasar Fritschi Eleanor Marion Rixon Fritschi & John R. Fritschi
have come back from their trip to the Pines
70 miles NE of Fresno. Said it was no good
and cost them $9.50 per day each or $22.50 for the
three per day. Everyone well. No news. Dont
know when Mother is coming back, but
in a letter to Ella she says she must arrange
to come back very soon as she wants to help
you to select a medical school!
Lots of love to you from Les & me
always your loving father
