closer to the final chapter. I like life as long as
I can keep well and happy and of course I dont
want to give it up before I have to, but there
is no use dwelling on the subject. When my time
comes, I go whether I want to or not, but when
that time comes I would like to feel that I
had done good to others and made the world
a trifle happier by my presence. I wish all
you boys were settled around Mother and me
as it is hard to raise a family, and not have
the pleasure of enjoying them in ones later years.
It is however a tremendous satisfaction to know
that your children are a credit to you, as all
of you boys have been and are to your Mother
and me. Lots of luck in your exams
and that you will get B in both. I suppose
you will be home next Friday if your last
ex takes place that day. No letter from
Mother yesterday. Lesley is coming over
at noon to go to lunch at the Court Clerk to
hear a man talk on Movies, a Prof Testa.

We both send you heaps of love, and
hope to see you a winner by next Friday.

always your loving father
