newspaper article on the
declaration that the Americans
"went and signed" & I hope
that after perusing it you
will be better informed on
the subject than at the time
of our last talk. We spent
a very quiet Fourth here.
In Sonoma, however, they
had a grand celebration
& unveiled a "Bear Flag"
