My dear old Snedward:

Your letter of the 29th came to hand
this morning, and so did Norman. He
looked very well and very tanned.

It was very kind of the Spears to ask
you to dinner, and I am sure you had
a fine time! I am sorry you had
to wear your high boots, but as you
have not sent me your other ones
to have mended, I cant do anything
for you. I cant buy you new ones
as even if I knew the size, they might
not fit. That was a funny postal
from Jocelyn. I am glad he is having
such a good time, and you too.

Norman and I are going to the Andersons
for dinner tonight, so I must stop.
