My dear old Edward.

I got your two postal cards of the
3rd & 4th inst, today; also your shoes
which I will try to have mended and
send to you as soon as possible. I will
also try to send you some mosquito netting.

Norman and I went to the Watermans
for the 4th. He came back yesterday and
I came back this morning. Mother
wrote me today, but she did not say
anything about when she was coming
home. However I will send for you
when I want you to return.

"Colonel" has just come in. He sends
you his love, and so do Nor & I.

I got a letter from Dick. He seemed
quite well & happy. I suppose Les
will be home in a week. In haste
