and while we were there Ned Henck
got up in back of me and the horse
began bucking at a great rate. I thought
we would both go off.

They had a couple of pretty good
races there Saturday. Alden Burrell
raced against two of the Flying A
cowboys but got beaten, and then those
two cowboys raced with two others
with shaps [chaps] on and mexican saddles.

We are getting up a vaudeville show
and it's going to be pretty good I think.
I'm going to be in a play called "Mrs.
Oakley's Telephone", and then in the
chorus of the Yama Yama song. Marion
Baillie
, my room-mate sang in it a show
in Tacoma, so she is going to be the Yama
girl and Phyllis, two other girls and myself
are going to be in the chorus. Then I'm
going to play for a song and dance stunt
that Marian Rodolph and Garret Winship are
going to do.

You seem to be managing everything
lately. I know you love to manage things.

Yep, we have hash for lunch
sometimes and its awful, but thank
goodness they draw the line when it
comes to breakfast and dinner. We get
pretty good eats here sometimes.

Some Valentine you sent me too.
Oh yes, I still love you in the same old
way.

Marian and another girl, Adalene Hatch from
Oakland, send their love to you.

Good-bye

Doris (Alias Montie).
