I was very glad to
hear from you and really
meant to write sooner. I
have loads of letters I
ought to write all the time
but we are busy every
minute here.

I like it down here
very much and haven't
wished myself home once –
Santa Barbara isn't a
very lively town but we
girls have fun just the
