Night before last Mother, Dad,
Martha, Joe cand I went over to
the State and saw the "Last of
Mohicans." It was wonderful.
Wasn't it terrible, dear, when
she fell off the rock? Mother &
I couldn't look at it. Some
of the scenes were in the
Yosemite Valley. The rock that
the girl was supposed to fall
off of was overhanging rock
up at Glacier Pt.

After lunch to-day Mabel
and I went up town. When we
got home I made some candy
for Mother as she is going to
have a luncheon to-morrow.
I think Saturday afternoon
Mabel and I are going over to
see "Madame Butterfly" at the
