Dear old Sned,

Mother and I have just
gotten home from a shopping
expedition in Oakland. I got
some new goods for a dress. I
wanted to get some suede pumps
but we were in a hurry so did
not have time.

We didn't have any
lecture in Anthropology yesterday
and as I didn't feel well came
home. I only missed a lecture
in Hygiene but didn't feel able
to stay. I studied History most
of the afternoon and slept
