Dear Sned,

Mother, Martha, your mother
and I have been at Mrs. Sargent's
to-day to spend the afternoon.
Mrs. Heckman and her mother
were there too. Had a very nice
time. I crocheted all the time. I
haven't had very much time to
work on your tie lately, dear, but
whenever I get a chance, I work
very hard on it.

Joc has a very sore
throat for the last couple of
days. He did not got to work
to-day, he went to see Dr. Rey-
nolds to-day and he told
him to stay home for a few days
