was there, & she always gives one
something to think about. She
is a splendid woman. There
was a Mrs. Hall there too, a very
interesting young woman with
a fine mind evidently highly
cultivated. She read Merlin & the
Gleam, one of Tennysons later poems.
It is very fine, you should read it,
& she did it beautifully. She has
attended Cornell, Anna says.
Anna and all of the family
admire The Challie very much.
It is certainly most useful.
They like my beaver hat too.
