deep seated disease of the eye – as appeared
very probable last week. It is very
puzzling & disquieting though – & at times
we feel at our wits end to know what [underlined] to
do for & with her. However as I say she
seems better & so I hope will continue so.
Am begging Harold Rixon to go away for a change
but so far I can't persuade him
to avoid times baby has a bath!

It was nice to hear all about him &
Les & Joc & the baby & Edward – It is
