Darling Edward --

You will be surprised to find
that I am writing from the Mission Inn
once more! --- Am not sure what the
date is but it is Sunday a.m. & is the
the 29th or 30th.

We received a telegram from dear
old Leslie on Friday a.m.
saying he has orders to leave here
Monday or Tuesday for an
Eastern field of advanced flying.
He had told us by letter to expect
it & that he will probably be sent
very [underlined] soon overseas -- they expect
in less than two months ---

It is the school on Long Island
he is ordered to go to --- so
