My own darling Edward.
I have been in bed a couple of
days - not Influenza just a little
under the weather but have had
time to think & my thoughts are
constantly with you -- Wondering
where & how you are.
Our news at present of the
war is meagur [meager] -- events seeming
to be hanging fire a little.
Have been reading a book Aunt
Anna & Helen told me of called
"A Student in Arms" by Donald
Hankey. It - is a very thoughtful
and interesting book.
