Mrs. Miller said she had "picked out
Margaret Kew for Clifford [inserted]" (Capt Millers son)
but alas he had only met her
once"!

Mrs M spoke so enthusiastically
about – M - Kew – that I feel she
must be a lovely girl. Whether
in looks or in character I am not
sure. I think she meant in every
way.
