about them.

Jocelyn has had to take a leave of absence
from college. Much to our distress
but there seems no help for it. The
Dr. says it might [underlined] perevent [prevent] a perfect
cure for him to hurt himself now
in the effort to do lab work in connection
with his courses.

Fond love dearest from us all.
Aunt E & I went to see an entertainment
given by Doris and Macy Williams. It was
fine [double underlined] Doris danced beautifully [underlined] ending
with a Chinese dance in Costume — it
was best of all. but all [underlined] her recitations were
splendid too. Did you get the sweater
she sent you? Fondest love darling
