We are so glad he is to have his commission
but are sorry he did not have it from
the first, for no doubt it will be easier
for him to get away from Camp occassionally [occasionally]
than it has been now that he is to have it.

Please tell Eleanor that I shall be
able in a few days to let her know
whether to expect me or not. I shall be
very sorry if I cannot manage it.
How proud you and your husband must
be of your boys.
