equal to me - at least the C. de G. with
Palm is - & it would not be in good taste
to say the D.S.C. is better I suppose,
when some of our friends have the
C. de S. I would not want to hurt
anyone's feelings. I suppose there
are fewer of the D.S.C. probably
fewer awards of it I mean - of
course we were a much shorter
time in the war - there was
less time & fewer men also
at the front - in perspective
I have had letters today from
