may arrive --- so that if it were
possible he might run up to see
you - but don't know whether he
will even receive [underlined] our letters before
it is too late --- I know if he can [underlined]
he will go up to meet you for I know
he is as eager to meet you as we
all are & heare all about your
wonderful experiences --- but he
may not know in time or be able
to get away ever if he does [underlined] know ---
I asked him to ask for furlough
& come on out with you!
