heard that poor Uncle Phil Reece
died suddenly of heart failure on
May 5th at Nicholson Pennsylvania
Where they live - It is very [underlined] sad
on poor Aunt Anna --- They were
about to start on a long auto ride it
was Phils birthday --- Harold went
East to attend the funeral & is
there still I think. He was having
such serious eye trouble that
he was having an enforced vacation
from the bank.

We hope he will see a first class
specialist while in the East as
his eyes have been badly [underlined] affected
apparently.
