with that and similar ad-
monitions received by letter
today, I suppose I must
abide by them. Oh I
had Montie buy a "Sunset"
and read that article. I hope
you'll let me see your answer.

Now look here C. Edward H. – I dislike
thinking of you losing sleep on
my account – of course I know it
was the coffee – but your thots [thoughts]
wandered. She's not worth it, you
know, really (and that's not for
you to dispute) and how can
you get your work done when
you get tres fatigué. Someone
will have to be telling you to take
naps.
