We arrived here at
two o'clock yesterday. It was
quite warm after we
left Los Gatos, California and we had
to peal [peel] off "out"[crossed out] our coats. I went
to sleep part of the way
down. I went to bed so late
Friday and Saturday nights
and got up so early yesterday
morning that I was pretty
tired and sleepy. I was wishing
I had you sitting next to me
in the machine, then I could
have gone to sleep on your
shoulder.
