finished our book which
took us until 11 o'clock.
Then we went to bed.

Friday Mrs. Breed is
going to have a card party.
We are making pillows for the prizes
of burlap and filling them
with redwood. We have
been busy this morning
getting the redwood. It
is scorching hot to-day.
We haven't been in
swimming yet, I just
can't get up enough
courage to go in that
smelly water.

We started another
book to-day called the, "Film
