My dearest Edward,

I want to get this written
so the post man can take it
when he comes along, then it
can go up on the El Dorado
this afternoon. I have just
written a note to Martha and
Joc. I sent them a picture
of Ruth Heidt that I cut
out of The Tribune yesterday.
It is perfectly wonderful
and I hope that Martha
shows it to you, dear.

Mother and Dad have
not gotten home yet. I expected
them last night, I guess they
either stayed at Biggs, California last night
