In Syracuse we were passing
a five cent restaurant carrying
our packs on our backs when the
proprieteress of the place called
us in and fed us. The food
was awful, but very welcome.

It's great fun only sweet-
heart I can't help wishing that
just you and I were going, out
perfectly carefree like tramps
to explore the world together, you
see I love romance, and I
love you, and we'd have such
a wonderful time. I have thought
of you all the time and miss
