I miss you Sneddie dear
and just ache to see you again,
this would have been a wonderful
trip if you had been with me,
and to think that I've only read
one of your letters since you have
been gone nearly kills me. I'd
like to rush home this minute,
and am going as fast as I can,
for we have one straight highway
from here to Hackensack, N.J. Oh
but we sure will look like
tramps when we reach the city,
I am burned about three shades
darker, than when you last saw
me, and scratched and bruised,
for we have walked a good deal.
