It's been cold and rainy for
four days, not a ray of sunshine,
except in my heart, where the sun
shines bright and hot for you,
don't you just feel its rays way
out there in San Francisco?

Have been sewing for two days
making a dress where with to deck
myself in, today it reached the
trying on stage and I found that
it would comfortably hold at
least two of me, most discour-
aging, but fortunately it's easily
altered and will be finished tomor-
row, and then I must look
around for a chance to step out
in it.
