N.Y. state. The wearther is beau-
tiful for hiking, and not very hot
for August.

I am anxious to get home so
that I can hear from you again,
I feel lost without a letter now
and then, such a lonesome feeling,
as though I had put a few more
thousands of miles between us. Just
think! If you arrive in N.Y.
around the 14th of Sept. as you
said, it is less than a month.

Sneddie, I can't wait, its too
good to be true. I expect to
be back around Labor Day,
whenever that is. Doubt if we
get to Montreal its 600 miles
from Portland, but will come
back by Lake George, and the
Adirondacks and down the
Hudson. Please sweetheart, take
a trip like this with me sometime.
