All the boys that were to leave
on the 19th are still in camp,
and we will probably be here
untill [until] after the offensive, as
the government have no trained
drivers to take our places.
Worked on the car most
all day. Many repairs necessary
to get it in shape for the
coming hard work. -- Five
new men came into camp
to fill up the vacancies. Now
we have two men for each
car which is surely necessary
during hard work.

Went on convoi [convoy] at four
o'clock. At Bozoches we
