at the French "Headquarters"
at 9 P.M. We had no
idea what was up. They
read us a paper from
the Comendant [Commandant] at Reims,
stating that we had been
there without permission.
They read the paper to us,
and then enquired about
the sights of the town, and
that was all. Some punishment.
