Early morning convoy
from Corcelles to Oulchy
le Chateau or a little beyond.
We carried clothing. A fourty
mile trip. Great movement
of artillery. All the roads
were crowded and mudy.
Drove all the way. It was
a hard but interesting trip.

Early convoy from Fere
to La Feite through Fismes.
An officers car hit my
front wheels when I was
going about twenty miles an
hour and sent me into the
bank before I knew anything
