all to pieces. Came back
to their house and had
tea, then went to the canteen
and helped them a little.
Then had dinner at eight
thirty. Fooled around untill
ten thirty and then came
home. Had a wonderful
time. The nurses are very
jolly, and we had a fine
meal on a table with
a real tablecloth and
knapkin.

Eleven of the fellows
got an order to move
to Paris soon. Went
up on the hill and watched
the Zuavis charge and
throw hand grenade
to have their pictures
