a machine with a
headlight we would
have to run for a

yards, completly
blinded, judging
the roads by the light
on the coming machine.
Then after you got
passed you would
be blinded for a
minute or so. During
one of these times Tom
Mouton in the machine
ahead of me struck a
soldier and knocked
him end over end.
I saw him beside the
